Brooks, 54, of Eldridge, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, Au- gust 12, 2023 at the Universi- ty of Iowa Hospitals Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, after an ex- tended illness. A memorial service to cel- ebrate his life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Chambers Funer- al Home in Eldridge. Craig was born February 27, 1969, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Gary Peggy (Moore) Brooks. He was a 1987 graduate of Moline High School. Craig was united in marriage to Patricia de Oliveira Neves on July 22, 2017 in Davenport, Iowa. Craig was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, having attended sever- al games and was very proud of their 2016 World Series win. Craig had driven for IWI motor parts in Davenport.

He enjoyed bowling, listening to music and the time spent with his family. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Patricia; his daughter, Sophia Schmitt; his mother and step-father, Peg- gy James Cavin of New Port Richey, Florida; his brother, Thomas (Kristi) Snyder of Coyne Center, Illinois; his step-sister, Heather (James) Thrash of Alachua, Florida; his step-brother, James (Dana) Cavin of Stark, Florida; his aunt, Cindy Moore of Coal Valley, Illinois; and his uncles, Tim (Michelle) Nolan of Zephyrhills, Florida and David (Michelle) Nolan of Port Hu- ron, Michigan. Jensen Nov. 2, 11, 2023 MESA, M. Jen- sen, age 98, of Mesa, AZ, for- merly of Goose Lake, passed away Friday August 11, 2023 in Mesa. She taught Elementary Education at Springbrook for years and at Delmar for 20 years. Evelyn married Ernie J. Jen- sen on February 22, 1953 in Maquoketa. Ernie passed away on Jan. 6, 2006.

She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church and the ELCW. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and camping. Evelyn is survived by a daughter, Elaine Jensen of Mesa; a son, Eric (Mary) Jensen of Clinton; grandchildren: Stacie (Kevin) Kenneavy, Nick (Jessica) Jensen, Robert (Sara) Jensen, Joy (Chris) Evans, and Ben (Melanie) Jensen; nine great-grand- children (a tenth due in Jan. 2024); a great-great-grandson; two brothers: Jan (Ellen) Mohr of Overland Park, KS and Juan (Barbara) Mohr of Loveland, CO; her sister, Virginia Hughes of Preston; brother-in-law, Robert Nienkark of Mesa. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernie; a grea- granddaughter, Jessalyn Jensen; three brothers: Robert, Har- ley, and Donald; and three sisters: Eula, Jane, and Margo.

He had recently restored his dream car, a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle and in past years re- stored a 1969 Camaro. John loved spending time with his fam- ily, especially his granddaughter, Parker. Survivors include his wife, Peggy; daughter, Alyssa (Presley) Cullen, Rock Island; grandchild, Parker Cullen, with a grand- son expected in October; siblings, Michael Snook, Fort Madi- son, Iowa, Sheila (Pete) Butler, Raeford, North Carolina, Sha- ron (Danny) Antle, Davenport; half siblings, Patricia Parlier, Arkansas and Terry Snook, Missouri; step father, Gary Jacob- son; several nieces and nephews.
